Up Close And Personal
Jason is a 1999 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where he
received a bachelor of science in Economics, with an additional
emphasis in Accounting. He is a 2003 graduate of the
University of Pittsburgh School of Law. While attending his
latter two years at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law,
Jason clerked for a field legal office of the Liberty Mutual Group.
He also completed a stint with the Office of the Public Defender of
Allegheny County after his first year of law school.
Jason joined Meyer Darragh in April, 2004 after serving as a law
clerk for a Pittsburgh firm engaged in general, civil, and workers'
compensation defense on behalf of a major insurance company.
At Meyer Darragh, Jason has continued to focus his practice
primarily on insurance defense and general, civil litigation,
but also with heavy emphasis in the areas of products liability,
automobile, transportation and construction law, and workers'
compensation defense. He also has prepared appeals to the
Pennsylvania Commonwealth, Superior and Supreme Courts, as well
as the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Outside of the office,
Jason is an avid golfer and softball player, and is co-captain
of the firm's softball team. He and his wife, Claudia, a
native of Brazil, currently reside in the South Hills. |
