Up Close And Personal
Kathy
Goff came a little late to the law. After all, it's hard to be a
practicing attorney and raise three boys and one girl at the same
time. But a few years ago, this hard-working basketball, baseball, football, and
music mom decided that she was ready to go back to school -- at night!
Born and raised in the South Hills suburbs of Pittsburgh, Kathy was no stranger to law. After all, her father is one of the founders this law firm and her brother is a senior partner here.
She majored in speech in college and graduated summa cum laude from Duquesne University in 1982,
got married, and chose to become a stay-at-home mom to raise her four children.
In the early-1990's, Kathy returned to Duquesne's law school where she earned her law degree, graduating cum laude in 1996.
Since then, Kathy has engaged in the practice of law, focusing
primarily on estate work. She is currently under contract with Meyer Darragh.
A member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Professional
Advisory Board and a board member of The Martha Fund (a nonprofit fund focused on building area playgrounds in memory of slain FBI agent, Martha
Dixon), Kathy does take time away from family to support these worthwhile efforts. With her husband, a managing partner of a local accounting firm, she and her children live in Mt. Lebanon. |
