Sarah Weissman is an associate at Meyer Darragh's Pittsburgh office where she is engaged in civil defense litigation. Sarah's work includes defending civil rights and employment discrimination claims, construction and commercial disputes, municipal work, worker’s compensation claims and insurance related issues.

She first joined Meyer Darragh in June of 2008 as a summer associate. Sarah is a 2009 Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Duquesne University's School of Law. In law school, Sarah was actively involved with the law school’s magazine, Juris, named “Best Law School Magazine” by the American Bar Association while Sarah served as the magazine associate editor. During her third year, Sarah served as Editor-in-Chief of Juris, and on the editorial board of the Duquesne Law Review as a research editor. During law school, Sarah also completed two judicial externships; one with former Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Cynthia Baldwin and one with the Honorable Judge Donetta Ambrose of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Sarah is a past recipient of the Honorable Carol Los Mansmann Scholarship in recognition of “exemplary academic performance and desire to make a difference in the legal profession,” from the Allegheny County Bar Foundation. She was selected by her peers and the faculty at the law school as the Distinguished Female Law Graduate from the class of 2009, an award given by the National Association of Women Lawyers.

Sarah received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in media communications. Prior to graduating college, she worked for upscale retailers while living in Boston, Massachusetts and in Pittsburgh.

Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys running, yoga and spending time with her family. She currently lives in the Regent Square neighborhood of Pittsburgh with her young son, Isaac.
