— Marie Milie Jones, a
senior partner and the managing attorney of Meyer, Darragh,
Buckler, Bebenek & Eck, P.L.L.C., was recently selected by
Oakland Catholic High School as one of its 2007 Leading Ladies.
Ms. Jones was one of
the women honored at the recent Wizard of Oz-themed Leading
Ladies Taking the Lead IV event. The Leading Ladies are
recognized as some of the Pittsburgh area’s most influential
ladies in business, the arts, philanthropy, and education.
“It is especially
gratifying to be selected as a Leading Lady by such an
outstanding educational institution,” said Ms. Jones. “I am
extremely honored by this recognition and by the inclusion in
such an elite group.”
A defense trial

achieved prominence in her representation of counties and local
governments sued by those who allege police abuse, excessive
force, and other violations of constitutional rights.
Ms. Jones was born
and raised in Greensburg, and is a cum laude graduate of
Duquesne University and its law school. At age 35, she became
managing attorney for Meyer Darragh, the youngest female to head

Cranberry Township, Marie is married to Cameron Jones, the owner
of the Northland Ford and Northland Lincoln-Mercury car
dealerships in Butler County.
Meyer Darragh is a
30-plus attorney Pennsylvania law firm with offices in Altoona,
Greensburg, and Pittsburgh and a particular focus on litigation
